Standard Wellness Set To Launch The Forest Dispensary In Baltimore

Christina Betancourt Johnson's Cannabis Journey
Defining herself as a “servant leader and conscious capitalist,” Christina envisions a world where cannabis is not only respected, but embraced as a safe, natural path to healthier living. With more than 15 years of executive leadership experience, she holds leadership roles on the U.S. Cannabis Council and the National Hispanic Cannabis Council’s Board of Directors. In Maryland, she serves as Vice Chair of The Maryland Wholesale Cannabis Trade Association (CANMD) and was recently appointed by Governor Wes Moore to the Advisory Board on Medical and Adult-Use Cannabis.
Before entering the cannabis industry, Christina raised more than $60 million annually for national and international nonprofits as the Director of Marketing for the Combined Federal Campaign. She also served as the Executive Director for Conscious Capitalism and led both a national affordable housing organization and a regional mixed-use and multi-family real estate development firm. As an African American and Latina woman, Christina embraces every aspect of diversity, fostering a culture-rich environment that is as engaging and spirited as the communities from which she comes.
