Who Is DJ Shambala?
With 30 plus years of experience, DJ and producer Shambala brings an unmatched passion for electronic music and its culture, blending influences from his Latin roots and American upbringing into sets that span house music, techno, deep tech progressive, lounge, jungle, drum and bass, instrumental trip-hop.
Known for his technical skills, musicality, and infectious energy, Shambala has performed alongside legends like Mark Farina, Chus & Ceballos, LTJ Bukem, Paco Asuna, Steve Angello, and Umek with appearances at Earthdance festivals, Ultra Festival, Miami’s Club Space, and Tampa’s Jacksons, Aja, and The Ritz Ybor. After returning to the scene in 2021, Shambala has built a thriving strong music community in Sarasota, Florida, through his High Wisdom live streams and events at various venues along the Suncoast.
His sets are soulful, powerful, and unforgettable—anchored by his motto: Let it Be House.

This track is a legit party-starter. It's funky, loose and bassy. I love that the lyrics don’t take themselves too seriously.

PROF - "High Priced Shoes"
The gangster in me misses the funny rap songs of the 80s and that's what I get from this track. This song makes me dance every time I hear it. This is not a track that I DJ, but it's on my listening playlists.

Klypso Featuring Snoop Dogg, Doggface, And War - "Low Rider (No Lighter)"
I love that this is a classic song turned into a master smoke supersonic track. The level of collaboration is amazing—so many artists in this song. It's not one I DJ, but it's one of my personal stash tracks.
