Los Angeles knows how to throw a party, but when Weedmaps teams up with The Seventh Letter, it becomes a cultural moment. On Saturday, August 30, 2025, the two forces joined together for the Weedmaps Kickback LA, transforming Love Hour in downtown Los Angeles into a vibrant hub where cannabis, street art, and music collided.
From noon until 6 PM, more than 900 guests were on the list to experience a one-of-a-kind afternoon blending creativity and community. The atmosphere was unmistakably LA—laid-back, stylish, and buzzing with energy—even under the blazing late-summer sun.
A Celebration of Culture
Weedmaps has long been at the forefront of cannabis, championing access and connection, while The Seventh Letter stands as a legendary collective in graffiti, streetwear, and design. Together, their collaboration offered guests a unique celebration that honored cannabis culture alongside the artistic and social movements it inspires.
What Went Down
The event lived up to its promise of being “a kickback like no other.” Guests were treated to:
- 🎤 Live DJ sets and surprise performances, including a crowd-shaking appearance by Larry June and a closing set from DJ Mustard.
- 🍔 Munchies from Love Hour, fueling the party with their cult-favorite burgers and bites.
- 🎯 Interactive activities, from a pop-up tattoo parlor to an on-site barbershop.
- 🍹 A bar inside plus free water stations, keeping everyone refreshed, while teams passed out free weed, free drinks, and free food throughout the day.

To help guests beat the scorching LA heat, the space was outfitted with fans and shaded tents, offering chill zones to cool off between sets, bites, and tokes.
More Than a Party
While it was undeniably a party, Weedmaps Kickback LA was also a reminder of the cultural ecosystem that cannabis nurtures. It was a place for brands, influencers, and community members to connect, share stories, and celebrate the plant that continues to inspire movements across generations.
The day ended with the perfect balance of music, art, and cannabis, leaving everyone sweaty, happy, and recharged by the collective energy of the culture.
