Celebrate Independence Day the DeLisioso way, with a Brooklyn event that pays tribute to legacy cannabis, the best of New York hip hop, and freedom. Uncle Rick’s Smoke Out is a first-of-its-kind happening by DeLisioso, the brand created by Richard DeLisi, formerly the nation’s longest-serving nonviolent cannabis prisoner. After serving 32 years (of a 90-year sentence) in prison, DeLisi has spent his time following his release in December 2020 transforming the country’s legal landscape so that no one will have their lives so tragically upended for the plant again. The DeLisioso mission is to provide cannabinoid products and elevated experiences accessible to all - while simultaneously advocating for those still behind bars. Who's Performing At Uncle Rick's Smoke Out? Shiest Bubz, Champelli, Statik Selektah And Friends
Taking place July 3rd, 4-10PM, Uncle Rick’s Smoke Out offers a combination of the community’s largest personalities. DeLisioso teams with cannabis impresario Seth Zaplin to present the event, which will be hosted by artist-producer Shiest Bubz, co-creator of The Smoker’s Club and host of The Heavy Smoke podcast, and legendary cultivator Champelli. The musical lineup will feature heavy hitters Statik Selektah, Mellow Domingo, Eddie B. Swift, and Hektek. Brooklyn-based art gallery Alte will host the gathering, which promises to be an innovative approach to the classic New York block party.
