Art, Herb, and Hustle—No Industry Rules Required
Smoke DZA doesn’t need a chart-topping hit or a flashy rollout to prove his influence. The Harlem-bred emcee, entrepreneur, and cannabis connoisseur has built a cult following through authenticity, consistency, and a lifestyle that blurs the lines between music, culture, and the plant.
“For me, it's not really hard to be creative living,” he says. “As long as I'm able to come outside and experience the world, I always got something to rap about.”
That lived experience—rooted in the rhythms of his city, the legacy of hip hop, and a longtime relationship with weed—forms the backbone of his work. DZA doesn’t need industry standards or validation. “I might've not had wanted to be creative at times,” he reflects, “but it's not hard for me to get into the bag when it's time to get into the bag.”

A Lifestyle Built from the Ground Up
While others are catching up, DZA’s been ahead of the curve. “I've been into weed before I was into music,” he says. But this isn’t about hype or headlines—it’s about respect. “Weed is just a part of my life. I don't abuse it. I understand it. I make money off of it. I've made a lifestyle around it. It's fed my children, my mom. It's fruitful for me.”

And now, he’s taking things to the next level with a personal strain that.
Fourth Rope: Hip Hop Meets the Ring
True to form, DZA’s hustle extends far beyond the booth or the bag. In partnership with his brother in bars and branding, Westside Gunn, he co-founded Fourth Rope, a wrestling company that fuses music, style, and raw energy in a way only hip hop could envision.
“We’re bringing our own twists to the wrestling industry,” DZA explains. “Fusing hip hop, bringing our artistry, and tying that up into it too.”
With Fourth Rope, his own cannabis strain, and a body of work that speaks louder than trends, Smoke DZA continues to move on his own terms—always grounded, always elevated.
