How can you use it?
Kratom can be made into capsules or brewed as a tea.
Personally, I had a drink called “Arnold Calmer,” it’s not an original recipe, but it is delicious. It’s half Kratom tea, half lemonade.
Here’s a quick recipe that serves (2) ~ 6 fl. oz “Arnold Calmers” adjust sweetener / lemon juice to your preference of lemonade, I like it pretty sour.
1g Kat’s Botanicals Red Maeng Da Kratom (~1/2 tsp)
2 fl. oz hot water (1/2 c.)
1/3 c. lemon juice (3 tbs.)
2 tbs. honey / sugar / maple syrup ( sweetener, you get it?)
-
Take Kratom & brew in the hot water for 5-10 mins.
-
Add honey & mix until it’s dissolved.
-
Add lemon juice & ~ 8 fl. oz of water (2 cups)
-
Pour over ice & enjoy or store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
How to dose?
Dosing can vary, but always good to start small, these drinks can vary due to separation of the material since Kratom won’t really dissolve into a tea even after it’s brewed. Ideally, they would both have .5g per serving.
That’s a good place to start & I wouldn’t suggest more than 1g. Kratom can have adverse effects when taken in large amounts, meaning it will now do the opposite of what it was intended to do, in extreme cases I have seen it make someone nauseous, they took 4g, I DO NOT suggest more than 1g, it is a powerful herb, excess isn’t necessary.
Kratom is most effective when taken every other day or doses a few days apart.
