The Minority Cannabis Business Association (MCBA) is one of the first organizations created specifically to progress the cannabis industry by increasing diversity. The MCBA's mission is to create equal access and economic empowerment for cannabis businesses, their patients, and the communities most affected by the War on Drugs.

Jervonne Singletary is Senior Director of Government Relations at Parallel, a national vertically-integrated cannabis brand. Jervonne has over a decade of experience working with marginalized communities, coalition building, and advocating. Among various roles, she has been Chief of Staff for members of the New York Assembly; worked with the Black and Hispanic Caucus on issues facing minority communities throughout New York State; and was appointed to the Mayor's Task Force for Cannabis Legalization while working at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. She was also instrumental in the passage of an Assembly bill that codified the decriminalization of small amounts of cannabis, moving it from a misdemeanor to a violation. A Brooklyn native, Jervonne holds a Bachelor’s in political science from Howard University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
