GOAT Global's New West Hollywood Location Offers Cannabis And Culture
Right in the middle of busy Santa Monica Boulevard, you see the beautiful GOAT Global logo with signs saying “Coming Soon!” The hype is already apparent. With the success of their other locations, this new space will further solidify their mission in offering authentic cannabis products and culture in an elevated setting.
GOAT Global's A Night Of Comedy Featured Trevor Wallace, Ron Funches, Frank Castillo And More
And what better way to kick things off than with a comedy show? Not just any comedy show, this highly-anticipated evening drew in the elites such as All Def Digital’s Trevor Wallace (whose first comedy special on Amazon Prime, Pterodactlyl, premiered during this Thanksgiving) and Ron Funches (Bojack Horseman, Trolls, Harley Quinn), with hosts Steve Furey (E!’s Dating#NoFilter) and Frank Castillo (Halfway to Amarillo, Peak’d podcast). The lineup also included Comedy Central's Jil Chrissie and Shane Torres, and Austin-based comedian Tony Casillas.
Smoke was provided courtesy of GOAT Global, along with a coffee bar and free water for the attendees. There were even endless giveaways from Puffco devices, which elicited phenomenal crowd participation. Let’s just say, a good majority of folks left extremely happy this evening.
What Were The Highlights From GOAT Global's A Night Of Comedy?
The running joke from all the comics was definitely the amount of smoke in the room that evening. And while they were partaking, most admitted to how baked they were on stage. Frank Castillo also mentioned how fun it was to bring together such an all-star group, most of whom he met at famed venue The Comedy Store, located on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The highlight of the evening arrived when Ron Funches took the stage, delivering a HILARIOUS set that had everyone rolling in laughter. You may recognize him from playing the security guard in Good Burger 2, as well as voicing many of your favorite animated characters from Cooper in Trolls to Mothman in Inside Job and title character Rock in Nickelodeon’s upcoming series Rock Paper Scissors.
Trevor Wallace was also a fan favorite. Hailing from Camarillo, California, Wallace is a stand up comedian, actor, and writer, who you’ve more than likely seen on the internet. Boasting over one billion views across all social media channels, Wallace specializes in making fun of the people closest to him.
All in all, the energy in the room was filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of cannabis. This was a beautiful way to kick off the new GOAT Global space in Weho, and we are looking forward to more events hosted at this awesome space!
