For more than 145 years, Zig-Zag has been a cultural staple—its iconic orange rolling papers showing up in music, films, and even on fans’ skin. Now, the brand is giving back to its most devoted supporters with the new Zig-Zag For Life campaign.

Anyone with a permanent Zig-Zag tattoo—whether it’s the classic Smoking Man, the orange pack, or a creative spin on the brand’s imagery—can claim a lifetime supply of Zig-Zag cones. To participate, fans must be 21+, upload a photo of their tattoo with verification details, and submit through the campaign site at zigzag.com/pages/zigzagforlife-tattoo-campaign.

Once approved, winners receive between 9,600 and 10,800 cones, which the brand defines as a “lifetime’s worth.” The campaign also features tattoo shop collaborations, influencer partnerships, and flash events across the country, spotlighting fan stories under the hashtag #ZigZagForLife.

With this campaign, the OG rolling paper brand cements its place not just in music and art, but in the skin—and lives—of its loyal community. Who came up with the idea for this campaign?


I did! Over the years, the Zig-Zag team has received countless photos and stories from fans who’ve chosen to get Zig-Zag tattoos. It’s incredible to be part of a brand so iconic that people want to carry it with them permanently. As part of the campaign, we’ve been partnering with tattoo artists and parlors to spread the word, celebrating our fans’ passion and honoring that deep connection.

How many people have entered so far?


We’ve had over 60 submissions, from official entries on the Zig-Zag For Life site to fans sharing tattoos on social and tagging us. The response has been incredible and really highlights the strong bond between Zig-Zag and our community. We’re excited to see even more entries roll in as word spreads.

Do you have a favorite tattoo?


That’s a tough one—it’s hard to choose! But we’ve noticed the iconic Frenchman on our packaging, “Boris,” is the most common theme. These tattoos are incredible and show how much of a cultural figure Boris has become, not just for Zig-Zag, but for rolling papers and smoking culture overall.

This feels like a beautiful way to give back to fans. Why was it important to you?


Zig-Zag has always been more than just a rolling paper brand—we’ve been part of people’s lives for generations. Seeing fans show their love in such a permanent way means everything to us. Zig-Zag For Life is our way of giving back in an authentic, meaningful way that celebrates the culture and community that made Zig-Zag what it is today, while showing our fans that their loyalty doesn’t go unnoticed.
