A music collective and music label, Public Secret transcends traditional label roles by also offering a supportive artistic community. Co-created by Stephanie Karzon Abrams and Max Mignot, Public Secret is committed to empowering musicians both managerially and creatively, acting as a catalyst for emerging talent and as a pillar of support for established artists.

What Is Public Secret? Music Collective And Label Provides "A Haven For The Curious"
With a strong emphasis on artist development, the collective cultivates an environment where creativity is not only encouraged but also inspired. Public Secret additionally produces curated destination gatherings and crafts experiences that imprint on the hearts of the community. Public Secret’s founders describe it as “a haven where the curious and the refined can indulge in the rhythms and pleasures of places uncommon.”
According to Abrams and Mignot, the project originated from semi-underground nomadic bliss: “We once threw a secret party on a beach called ‘Public’ on the island of St. Barts. We were inspired by our humble beginnings to create ‘Secret Sessions,’ where the locations are revealed only a few hours before the event begins. We now travel the world, driven by a passion for bringing people together, bringing you a sonic atlas of rhythms encountered globally.”
Who Are Public Secret's Artists?
Public Secret artists include BOSA, BIGGER THAN US, Chapacan, Club Indigo, Max Mignot, We Of Youth, Rameff, SimbaSōl, Susanah, Wife Material. The collective produces all kinds of cool events, like one on top of a mountain in Topanga!
They are also dedicated to environmental conservation: “We recognize the importance of protecting the planet and are partnered with Bye Bye Plastic to create a series of plastic-free music events and encourage our artists to implement eco-friendly riders that prioritize sustainable hospitality while on tour.”
Public Secret's Polyrhythmic Party Weedsday Playlist
For their Weedsday Playlist, Public Secret artists offered up tracks that exemplify the experience of a party with the collective. “This playlist is polyrhythmic and great for movement and ecstatic dance. Feel the energy flow with this global groove.”

Liam Fitzgerald - "Manifestation"
Public Secret recently released this track as part of a 2-track EP by Liam. We’ve listened to it a lot and have not tired! This track is a wild jungle parade, starring swaggering big cats, squawking toucans, and acrobatic lemurs, each beat inspiring vivid, untamed visuals. So, which jungle creature will you channel?

Max Mignot - "Eyuva"
This is such a journey song! Max ventured to Namibia a few years ago and spent time with the Himba tribe. With their permission, he recorded their chants to later create a track with. I love their dissonance and the tension they build. There’s also an instrumental only version.

Club Indigo And Bisi - "Making Up"
We met Club Indigo when she showed up to support another artist we’d hired for an event. The other artist invited her to play back to back. I loved ALL the tracks Indigo played; there was so much variety, yet they all flowed so well. We soon discovered that she was a multi-instrumentalist, incredibly talented producer, with a big heart, and deep soul.
