What Were The Highlights Of Global Psychedelic Week 2025?

The inaugural Global Psychedelic Week 2025 has officially concluded, marking a historic moment for the international psychedelic community. From November 3–9, thousands of participants joined a seven-day global celebration of healing, equity, and cultural transformation, connecting voices across continents through shared purpose and vision.

With 140 speakers across 32 sessions, the online program ran with exceptional precision — the maximum delay was just three minutes — featuring scientists, Indigenous leaders, therapists, artists, and entrepreneurs shaping the future of psychedelics. Milica Radovic Mandic's "Music Of The Universe" Weedsday Playlist

Of her choices for a Weedsday Playlist, Milica says, “This playlist was created as a companion for deep inner work, each track selected through firsthand experiences in expanded states of consciousness. All five of these tracks are part of my playlist Music of the Universe on Spotify, a living archive of over a 100 songs I’ve gathered over the years from raves, festivals, and transformative musical gatherings. Each one holds a memory, a frequency, a moment of expansion. These are songs that hold space, open channels, and support journeys inward. Whether moving through emotional layers, reconnecting with ancestral memory, or simply observing the mind from a place of stillness, these sounds have served as reliable allies.

Music does more than accompany the experience, it shapes it. It influences the pace of our breath, the tone of our thoughts, and the emotional textures we navigate. In psychedelic states, where the psyche becomes more fluid and receptive, music becomes a co-therapist, a steady guide through the unknown. These tracks are not just beautiful compositions, but functional tools, resonant with the rhythms of transformation, insight, and release. This list speaks to the potential of sound to guide us through the nonlinear path of healing, integration, and the ongoing evolution of human consciousness.”

Nicola Cruz - "Tzantza"

This song is personal, I got engaged while this song was playing in the background at a rave party!

Earthy and ceremonial, Tzantza pulses with ancestral memory. Nicola Cruz fuses Andean instrumentation with modern electronica, crafting a deeply immersive, trance-like experience. The track activates the root, grounding the listener while maintaining a subtle lift into higher awareness. It’s a sound offering that bridges tradition and modern mysticism, ideal for opening or anchoring a ceremony.

Oliver Koletzki And Stil Vor Talent - "Tankwa Town"

Oliver Koletzki is a sonic magician. I’ve followed his hypnotic soundscapes from the jungles of Tulum to the warehouses of San Francisco, dancing through portals he masterfully opens with every set. This song is named after the ephemeral city of AfrikaBurn, this track is desert-dusted and hypnotic.

Koletzki’s layering builds like a psychedelic trip: steadily, intentionally, until you’re dancing with shadows. There’s a primal pulse to it that mirrors the energy of collective ritual under open skies.

It’s music for movement, liberation, and dissolving inhibition in service of self-expansion.

Deya Dova - "Mapping The Cosmos"

I’ve always felt the pull to ascend beyond the stars and descend into ancestral memory. There’s a deep inner compass guiding me both upward into the cosmic unknown and downward into the roots of where I come from. This song is a celestial chant that dissolves boundaries between galaxies and self. Deya Dova channels ancestral transmissions through her voice, merging the mythic with the cosmic. The track weaves star frequencies into tribal beats, echoing the intelligence of the universe through sound. It’s perfect for moments of peak connection, when the journey becomes galactic and the self feels infinite.

Omeria - "Camachile"

This song activates something deep in my DNA,  a knowing that lives beyond language. I understand every word on a sub-perceptual level, even without knowing the literal meaning. It’s like the music speaks directly to my cells, bypassing the mind and awakening memory. Dreamy and percussive, "Camachile" evokes jungle twilight and inner visions. The rhythm pulls you into trance while synth lines swirl like smoke. It carries the pulse of a sacred journey inward, a reminder that the medicine also lives in the silence between the beats. Perfect for deep introspection or for integrating complex emotional terrain.

Bagarre And Yan Wagner, "Le Gouffre (Yan Wagner Belgian Trip"

This song is medicine for the dormant parts of me, the ones that hide in shadow and silence. It stirs the elemental forces I’m made of, like striking flint against stone. When I need to wake the storm within, to feel fully alive and unfiltered, this is the sound that summons it. This track delves into the depths of electronic exploration, blending Bagarre's avant-garde style with Yan Wagner's distinctive synth-pop sensibilities. The result is a hypnotic journey through pulsating rhythms and ethereal melodies that evoke a sense of introspection and movement. Even without understanding the French lyrics, the emotive delivery and atmospheric production resonate on a profound level, speaking directly to the subconscious. It's a sonic experience that transcends language, inviting listeners to surrender to its immersive soundscape.
