Who Is BAD MUTHAPUFFA Tyler Therapy? A Creator, Educator And "Canna Mom OG"

Tyler Therapy is one "BAD MUTHAPUFFA". She is a prominent entertainer, model, and public figure in the cannabis industry, who has set forth a legacy of entertaining and educating the masses on cannabis since 2013. Tyler graciously shares her passion for the plant with others through creative product review videos and musical bops and jingles that showcase her acting and musical theater background.

The artist demonstrates leadership by helping other small creators with their content and by curating community events that always gives a vibe. She ultimately inspires people who follow her to be ground steppers, movers and shakers, decision makers, and creative directors. Tyler is a "Canna Mom OG", which means she is not new to this, she is true to this. Cannabis is truly her lifestyle, and she shows how to navigate this industry all while being an incredible mother. Overall, Tyler’s mission statement is that she is showing “how we can indeed be responsible and DO IT ALL as a mother, as a woman, as a person with a dollar and a dream.” So long as we "Keep On Puffin’'' as she says, “we just got to keep on truckin' on and do the work so that one day we can bask in all its glory.”

Tyler Therapy's BAD MUTHAPUFFA Weedsday Playlist

For Tyler Therapy’s Weedsday Playlist, she shared tracks from her very own catalogue so that we can all emulate the BAD MUTHAPUFFA vibe. “I wanted to embark on this music journey as BAD MUTHAPUFFA because it was a newfound discovery of confidence and way of thinking that I could finally express through lyrics and music,” the artist explains. “I wanted to put out music that I wanted to hear and music that I could relate to as a Canna Mom, as a Stoner Baddie, as a Female Entrepreneur, as a Black Woman, as Cannabis Lover, as an overall BAD MUTHAPUFFA. So I created that music. I basically created music for this very reason, so that people who smoke can have a go-to music artist for their Puff Sesh that not only hypes them up and makes them feel good, but most importantly, makes the listener feel good about smoking cannabis. Usually we put on these guys like Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa if we want to listen to an artist rap about weed. Well, now you can start BUMPING the BADDEST MUTHAPUFFA IN THE MUTHAPUFFIN GAME, Tyler Therapy, a powerful WOMAN leader directly rooted in the cannabis industry. She is BAD MUTHAPUFFA.”

BAD MUTHAPUFFA - "Puffin Tuff"

"Puffin Tuff" means so MUTHAPUFFIN much to me because it was the song that birthed my alter ego, "BAD MUTHAPUFFA." I became BAD MUTHAPUFFA when I embodied who she is during the studio session, and you can hear who she is by every tone and delivery of each line and lyric. It was RAW, it was POTENT, it was REAL. She is a MUTHAPUFFA who PUFFS TUFF with her Afro Puffs. She embraces the fact that she's a mother with her chant of being a "Canna Mom OG", hence, "MUTHA" and she's not afraid to wear her natural hair, hence, "PUFFA", meaning she rocks with her AFRO PUFFS. Most of all she LOVES WEED and PUFFS it proudly, hence, "PUFFA" again, giving the whole essence of being a triple entendre. This not only was an ode to cannabis, but it was inspired by one of the ROUGHEST, TOUGHEST, in female rap history, The Lady Of Rage "Afro Puffs" song, which is why you may feel like you have heard it before. This is my go-to track to listen to when I feel hyped about the strain I just got and can't wait to dive into the sesh with big clouds and big Afro Puffs to match!

Favorite Lyric/Line/Blurb: "Yea I be Puffin Tuff with my Afro Puffs, need a POUND 'cuz a zip ain't enough!"

BAD MUTHAPUFFA - "Pretty MuthaPuffa"

"Pretty MuthaPuffa" is one of those tracks that uplifts all my Stoner Girlies! It's definitely a vibe that makes you feel pretty and cute and not ashamed of smoking weed as a woman. Remember when MUTHAPUFFAS would comment on girls' cannabis consumption, and say things like "Girls shouldn't smoke weed" or "You're too pretty to be smoking weed" or "I don't like girls who smoke weed"? Well, I made this song because "Pretty Girls Smoke Weed Too" and we are not afraid to show it and let you know it, especially when we are out here educating people on the plant and putting in the work to end the stigma.

This is another one that justifies my passion for cannabis as a woman in this industry and shows representation of the type of women who smoke while telling a complete story. I put this track on when I am PUFFIN Pretty and feeling cute with all my cute stoner girl accessories, like my cannabis inspired earrings and other jewelry and my cute smoking tools like blinged out roach clips and toker pokers. I put this on when I am in a cute girlie sesh with all of my best girlfriends. I put this on when I am straight up feeling like a PRETTY MUTHAPUFFA!

Favorite Lyric/Line/Blurb: "4:20 on the Dot. I hit the Shop. Puff Sesh at the Spot. I Puff with Queens so KICK ROCKS, and yea we smoke a lot. Don't care if you think it's hot or not!"

BAD MUTHAPUFFA Featuring Queen F. Sharp - "One Luv"

“One Luv” is meant for the one love that we all share and that's the love for cannabis. In this sense, Cannabis represents UNITY. The lyrics are special on this song and are meant to unify women and most importantly strengthen the bonds between Black women and uplift them.

I wrote this song in 2020 when I felt like it was the time to lead Black Women to Love and Light. It was right before we hit a racial pandemic where we were not all sticking together, we were not all on the same page, we were not willing to come together to overcome the oppression of this industry and beyond, but more specifically in cannabis. There was a time in this space (and still is) when Black Women's voices were silenced and we were not uplifted, we were not seen in this space. We were undermined and overlooked and I just wanted to make a beautiful song that encourages the next Black woman to keep going and NEVER STOP! I approach this by describing what a Queen is and how she should continuously spread love and light while maintaining her peace and not spread hate unto others, but most importantly the Black Woman because we are already hated enough. This song unifies Black women and all women, as it helps other women to understand the position that we are in and shows that we all need to lean on each other for support.

Favorite Lyric/Line/Blurb: "And if you listen to the Queen that's inside of you, your light will shine bright just like the sun and the moon!"

BAD MUTHAPUFFA - "Park Sesh"

Have you ever seshed at the park? Who hasn't!? This song was the very first song I ever wrote and recorded back in 2013. It was inspired by, you guessed it, a Park Sesh. I had only been smoking weed for a couple of years then and I was fresh out of high school, so you could imagine I had nowhere to go to sesh with friends as a young person. So we would just go to the park.

I love this song for any sunny day outside when I am seshing around greenery and scenery and lush and kush. This song gives such a nostalgic connotation and tells a story. I was inspired by my absolute favorite song at that time, which was "It Was A Good Day" by Ice Cube. My version of a good day was smoking weed at the park with friends and family and I wanted to tell a full-blown story like Ice Cube did in that song. This one is forever on my playlist because it is just so vibey and makes you feel like it's 2012.

Favorite Lyric/Line/Blurb: "Session goin’ up, you know it's time to wake n bake, gettin’ high all day and I'm not comin’ home 'til late."

BAD MUTHAPUFFA Featuring Luna Lee - "Can't Puff With That"

"Can't Puff With That” is one of those songs that you play when a MUTHAPUFFA got you PUFFED up! That's right. Have you ever been through situations where you had to cut a MUTHAPUFFA off who carried negative energy and an ugly spirit? Yeah, same.

I can't PUFF with that. It goes into many things and scenarios that I just can't puff with or even puff on like the nasty weed that people will bring to the sesh along with their nasty vibrations. It got so bad, I even had to make it into a MUTHAPUFFIN shirt! It includes a monologue in the song where I am confronting the person talking trash and smoking it too, because at the end of the day you do not want to be around people who constantly bring you down. Put this song on your sesh list as a reminder that you are not one to be PUFFED with and that it is okay to set boundaries and let a person know how you just can't puff with that!

Favorite Lyric/Line/Blurb: "Oh here you go MUTHAPUFFA, you talkin’ that trash and smokin' it too!"
