What happens when cannabis, culture, and live music collide in a fully legal, fully immersive festival experience? You get The Miracle in Mundelein—and this year’s edition is bigger, bolder, and higher than ever.

Set to take place September 6–7, 2025 in Mundelein, Illinois, just outside Chicago, The Miracle is the first—and still one of the only—music festivals in the United States where adults 21+ can legally bring and consume their own cannabis anywhere on-site. No awkward smoking sections. No hiding in the crowd. Just two days of open-air vibes, powered by the plant.

A Star-Powered Lineup

Presented by RYTHM Premium Cannabis in partnership with Dayglo Presents, Deep Cut, and Señorita THC Margarita, the third annual Miracle will be headlined by reggae royalty Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, legendary hip-hop trio De La Soul, jam band icons Umphrey’s McGee (who are closing their set with a Pink Floyd tribute), and Grateful Dead tribute favorites Dark Star Orchestra. The full weekend blends cannabis culture with musical diversity, from soul-shaking dub to heady jam rock and throwback grooves.

The full lineup includes:

  • Saturday, September 6: Damian Marley, De La Soul, Oma, DJ Papa G
  • Sunday, September 7: Umphrey’s McGee, Dark Star Orchestra, Karina Rykman, DJ Airwolf

Where the Plant Meets the People

While most festivals tiptoe around cannabis, The Miracle puts it front and center. With legal on-site consumption, dab bars, joint-rolling stations, and immersive brand activations, it’s a place where the flower is celebrated—not criminalized.

Presented by RYTHM, the event’s main sponsor and one of Green Thumb Industries' flagship brands, The Miracle includes access to premium flower and concentrates, plus unique activations like the Señorita THC Margarita Cabana Club. Attendees are encouraged to shop before the event at RISE Mundelein Dispensary (1325 Armour Blvd) or bring their own supply, in accordance with posted guidelines.

“This event is truly a testament to the power of this plant to unite people and create a high-energy music experience like no other,” says Ben Kovler, CEO of Green Thumb Industries, the parent company behind RYTHM and RISE. “We’re proud to bring The Miracle back for a third year with a lineup that celebrates the powerful connection between cannabis, music, and culture.”

Culture Meets Responsibility

The event’s production partners echo the sentiment that cannabis deserves a place in the mainstream festival circuit.
“We’ve always believed cannabis deserves a seat at the table when it comes to live entertainment,” says Peter Shapiro, founder of Dayglo Presents.
And Michael Berg, founder of Deep Cut, adds: “The 2025 lineup represents a perfect harmony between cannabis culture and the music subcultures that helped define it.”

This festival is a tribute to the roots—of both the music and the movement. And three years in, it's clear The Miracle is more than a moment. It’s a model.
