Upscale LA Celebrates First Anniversary With Cannabis Brands

On Saturday, July 13th, Upscale LA celebrated their one-year anniversary in a major way. Upscale is best known for throwing the biggest cannabis events in the city: not only inviting all the top brands in the industry to set up, but also creating a safe space for cannabis lovers to come socialize, network, enjoy live entertainment, and discover their new favorite flower.

Who Is Rapper OhGeesy?

Taking place both indoors and outdoors at 930 Mateo St., the highly-anticipated event began at 6PM and ran until 2AM on a beautiful Saturday evening in the City of Angels. Headliner OhGeesy was advertised to appear, though the star of the evening would only pull up around midnight. Born and raised in Los Angeles, the West Coast rapper exploded onto the scene as a member of Hip-Hop group Shoreline Mafia in 2012 when he was just 19. Now he’s focused on his own solo artistry.

But that star turn happened later in the anniversary bash; meanwhile, there were so many other sensations to discover. Immediately upon walking in, it was hard to miss Bartz Barbeque outside. The vibes were unmatched, with live DJ sets throughout the evening from @OLEA_5, @GISELLEPEPPERS, @AG.WAVV, and @ATMDANNY_.

With over 40 brands in attendance, Upscale made sure to highlight their main sponsors @DEOFARMS @BLACK_N_YELLOW, and @UNTOUCHABLEGENETICS

One thing about Upscale LA, they’re always going to show out when it comes to the live performances. But before the headliner showed up, they also provided entertainment in the form of a live boxing match.

OhGeesy Performs At Upscale LA's Anniversary Celebration

When the man of the hour arrived, it brought the evening to a new high of extraordinary.  And if there’s one thing you can always count on, it’s that he’ll turn up the crowd anywhere he goes. OhGeesy graced the stage rocking a white Supreme t-shirt and matching red snapback, with diamonds all around his neck and wrist. He performed all his smash hits such as “Get Fly” featuring DaBaby, Shoreline Mafia’s “Musty,” and most recently the “Soak City” remix with 310Babii.

Afterwards, OhGeesy stopped by the Deep East booth to sign merch for fans, showing love to all the people who show love to him.
