Following an incredible exhibit that ran from January through April, on August 2nd and 3rd a lineup of celebrated artists bring the background into foreground once again, paying homage to some of New York's most iconic Hip Hop landmarks in the Second Annual Landmark Festival. Curated by Kate Storch, the weekend will include an incredible lineup of DJs, performances, live painting, breaking and more.

What Is The Landmark Festival?

The series plays with the idea of landmarks as locations, but also a pivotal moment. Artists in the lineup create works, adding their own artistic voice and style to celebrate and memorialize the influential locations that provided a place where Hip Hop culture and artists emerged and thrived, helping to lay the foundation for the global force Hip Hop is today.

Which Artists Are Exhibiting At The Second Annual Landmark Festival?

Exhibiting artists at the Second Annual Landmark Festival will include legendary photographer Joe Conzo, Danny Cortes, Peter Paid, Meres, BlusterOne©, André LeRoy Davis, and Jerms (DJJS1). Artists painting live will include ShiroStash, Andre Trenier and Jaek El Diablo from France.

“Landmark is more than just an exhibit; it’s a celebration of a movement that has shaped generations and crossed cultural boundaries," says Kevelyn Vargas of Frank151, the internationally-renowned media company that has curated unique voices in Hip Hop since 1991. "It serves as a reminder that hip-hop is not just a genre of music but a way of life, influencing art, fashion, dance and more.”
