Who Is Kiyomi Kowalski, Vice President Of Partnerships At Project Shema?
Vice President of Partnerships at advocacy non profit Project Shema, Kiyomi Kowalski, an Afro-Latin, queer, Jewish, Marine Corps veteran, mother works to ensure that all of the intersecting identities feel at home in any space. One would think that marginalized groups might stick together, but that is not always the case.
“The only one who wins by pitting marginalized groups against each other, are the oppressors,” she says.
Kiyomi Kowalski On Combating Antisemitism And Addressing Unconscious Bias
