When Albert Schwarzmeier talks about enua’s mission, it’s clear he’s not just running a company — he’s building a philosophy. The name enua, he explains, comes from an old-fashioned Greek fusion of “O” and “Neo,” which together mean “positive thinking” or “positive mindset.”

This guiding principle shapes everything enua does, from product development to corporate culture. But Schwarzmeier emphasizes that their ambitions go beyond serving a single customer segment.

“Our vision is we change society for the better,” he says. “On purpose, we selected not ‘we changed the patient’s world for them’ because we would say if it’s just the patient’s world — which is obviously driving the whole company and everything we do and for when I get up in the morning — that would still be too narrow. We see this more amplified.”

For Schwarzmeier, patient care remains at the heart of enua’s operations. Yet he believes that by framing the mission through a broader lens, the company can inspire greater systemic change. “Only looking into it from a patient perspective is one thing, but looking into it from a society perspective is more important,” he notes. “And that’s why our vision is we change society for the better.”

With a name rooted in optimism and a mission anchored in transformation, enua is positioning itself not just as a player in healthcare, but as a catalyst for societal progress. As Schwarzmeier makes clear, the goal isn’t simply to treat symptoms — it’s to reimagine what’s possible when positive thinking drives meaningful action.
