Downtown Los Angeles | January 29, 2026

As Los Angeles fills with creative energy during Grammy Week, Culinary & Cannabis is carving out a quieter, more intentional lane. On Thursday, January 29, the experiential wellness brand will unveil CannaSpa Wellness Lounge: Mental Health, Music & Plant Medicine, an immersive, design-forward gathering centered on restoration, culture, and conscious connection.

Taking place at The East Angel in Downtown LA, CannaSpa is a 21+ experience created for guests to slow down, unplug, and engage with plant medicine and mental wellness in a refined, stigma-free environment. The event runs from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with programming unfolding in two distinct phases.

Founded by registered nurse and pastry chef Tamara Anderson, Culinary & Cannabis has become known for merging luxury self-care with cannabis education, cultural storytelling, and elevated hospitality. CannaSpa builds on that legacy—expanding the conversation to include mental health, sound therapy, and community healing.

“Selfcare is the best gift you can give to yourself and others, so please join us for a little relaxation and education all while experiencing and learning about plant medicine,” Anderson shared.

Inside the CannaSpa Experience

From 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, CannaSpa opens as a private Celebrity Gifting Lounge, welcoming select celebrity guests, influencers, and media to explore curated wellness activations and plant-medicine offerings in an intimate setting.

From 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, doors open to the public for the Panel Discussion and Consumer Experience, blending education, hands-on wellness, and live music into a single, fluid environment.

Guests can move through a thoughtfully curated menu of offerings, including:

  • CBD-infused massages and mini facials
  • Reiki and energy work
  • An oxygen bar featuring essential oils and terpene blends
  • Sound baths and guided meditation
  • DIY CBD topical and herbal self-care stations
  • Holistic health consultations
  • Skincare and beauty activations
  • Music, food, mocktails, and wellness-forward networking

Mental Health, Music & Community

At the heart of CannaSpa is an open, trauma-informed conversation on mental wellness—especially within creative communities and communities of color. The panel and optional one-on-one consultations are led by Paulette Simone, founder of Canna.Heals.

Live performances by Tyler Therapy and Wowashwow provide a sonic layer to the experience—using sound as a tool for grounding, emotional release, and reflection.

Together, the programming explores how creativity, music, and plant medicine intersect with mental health, offering guests both insight and embodiment.
