As we launch THE HONEY POTHoneysuckle Magazine’s exclusive, all-cannabis print and digital publication, we reflect on all that we stand for. With Woodstock’s 50th Anniversary this weekend, we see similarities throughout generations that Honeysuckle proudly pushes forward -- the mission of Freedom. Freedom of choice, freedom to consume, freedom of expression and freedom for those who are imprisoned, oppressed (and repressed, quite frankly!).

To kick off our first Honey Pot print issue, PRIMO, we feature Steve DeAngelo, “Father of the Legal Cannabis Industry,” on the cover. The venerated activist and his brother/business partner, Andrew DeAngelo, joined Team Honeysuckle in NYC for an eye-opening conversation on how their love of the plant has led to decades of advocacy.

From their first experiences with cannabis to industry benchmarks – such as founding investment juggernaut The Arcview Group, to taking Harborside, the largest dispensary in the United States, public on the Canadian Stock Exchange – to family and their deep appreciation for Mother Nature, they spoke to us from their hearts.

The Brothers D have recently added Reggae legends Damian and Stephen Marley to the advisory board of their important nonprofit, The Last Prisoner Project (LPP), an organization dedicated to restorative justice for those suffering the collateral consequences of cannabis criminalization.

Watch below; it might be the most important twenty minutes of your life.
