Michele Castellon's Happy Weedsday Playlist

Drawing on her twin passions for music and cannabis, Michele Castellon chose joy for her Weedsday Playlist. She admits, “It’s pretty hard to pick only 5 songs for a playlist.  I chose these tunes because they keep me moving and just make me happy.”

A Tribe Called Quest - "Check The Rhime"

I love this band and I love this song. It’s usually the first track I play on my walk to the train. It’s the perfect song to kick off the day and get it going!

Vulfpeck - "Back Pocket"

There is nothing better than doing chores stoned. Saturday mornings, after my wake and bake, I put this tune on to ease me into the day.

Disclosure Featuring Elko Roosevelt - "Tondo"

This song was introduced to me by one of the employees at my local grocery store. The manager said he always sees me bopping around in the aisles and quickly a music discussion followed. I complimented him on the music they played and he proudly told me he makes the playlists. While we shared what music we listen to, he told me about this track that he’s been listening to on repeat. After I listened to the track for the first few seconds, I was hooked. It’s got a great beat and you can’t help but move when you hear it.

MGMT - "Electric Feel"

This song just puts me in a great space.

Leon Bridges - "If It Feels Good (Then It Must Be)"

This is another song that’s impossible to sit still with. It’s groovy, it’s fun and most importantly, it makes me happy.  The song will absolutely get stuck in your head and you won’t be mad about it.
